AGT Semifinals Results (Sept. 16, 2026): Who Made the Season 21 Finale and Who Went Home

• Six acts advanced out of the twelve who performed Tuesday: Olivia Befus, Veronika Goroshkova, Acro Canine Crew, Come Here, Royal Lasers and Geno Ploeger.
• Six went home — Kameron Marshall, Daniel Alvarez, Cesar Dias, Luke Taleno, Young & Strange and Travis Garland.

Who was already in the finale?

Four acts, each carried there by a live golden buzzer earlier in the season: magic act Hundred Fingers, singer and guitarist Nene Royal, singer Lai Noelle and robot act Unitree.

They did not compete Tuesday. Add Wednesday's six and the finale runs ten acts deep.

Why was there no golden buzzer in the semifinals?

Because the round was built without one. Every semifinalist went to the public vote, which is a change from the quarterfinals — round four in particular ran as a single three-hour block with voting and results inside the same episode.

Judges Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara and Mel B. commented Tuesday night, but nothing they said moved an act. Viewers decided all six slots.

When is the AGT finale?

Note the later start. Both nights run at 9 p.m. ET on NBC rather than the 8 p.m. slot the show used all summer, and both are two hours. Peacock carries them next day.
