Reality TV Next Week (Sept. 14–20, 2026): DWTS Opens Two Nights, AGT Semifinals, MasterChef Crowns a Winner
The gist — next week is the busiest stretch of the fall so far. Dancing with the Stars opens Season 35 across two nights, Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16, America's Got Talent runs its live semifinals on the same two nights, MasterChef crowns a Season 16 winner Wednesday, and Big Brother keeps its three-episode week on the way to an Oct. 1 finale.

What time does Dancing with the Stars start, and why is it on twice?
Season 35 opens with back-to-back episodes: Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16, both at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with next-day streaming on Hulu. After that the season settles into Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
A two-night open is not decoration. With 16 couples this season, one two-hour show cannot fit everybody dancing, so the field splits across the two nights. Who gets eliminated on AGT next week?
NBC runs the Season 21 live semifinals Tuesday, Sept. 15, with the results the following night. Sixteen semifinalists are left, and the show has been cutting the field a round at a time since August.
The last cut we covered in detail was the fourth quarterfinal on Sept. 8. Results night is the one to watch live if you care about the outcome, because the votes close on the Eastern clock.
When does MasterChef Season 16 end?
Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. on FOX. That is Finale Part 2, and it is where the winner is named.

How many Big Brother episodes are there next week?
Four, counting the Friday spinoff. Wednesday and Sunday are standard episodes, Thursday is the live eviction, and Big Brother: Unlocked returns Friday at 9 p.m.

What else starts soon?
Two big returns sit just past this window, which is why Thursday's Voice special matters — it is a lead-in, not a season.

TLC keeps its Tuesday block. 1000-lb Sisters airs Season 9, Episode 3 at 9 p.m., and 1000-lb Roomies follows at 10 p.m. with Season 2, Episode 4.
