First things first: Big Brother 28 is over. The live finale aired Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, a 90-minute episode, and no episode is scheduled after it.

Who made the final three?

Taylor Brown, Drew Campbell and Rick Devens played the three-part final Head of Household. Taylor won Part 1, Devens won Part 2 and Part 3, and Devens evicted Drew. Devens then won the jury vote 6-1.

Why do Big Brother start times move around?

CBS carries NFL doubleheaders on Sunday afternoons. When the late game runs long, prime time slides, which is why Sept. 13 started at 8:30 instead of 8. On Sept. 27 the MTV VMAs were listed for 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on CBS, but football ran long and the awards show did not end until about 10:15 p.m. ET. Big Brother, listed for 9:30, started then, about 45 minutes late.

Weeknights shift for a different reason: CBS stretches or trims episodes around the eviction calendar. If you record, pad the end by 30 minutes on any Sunday in football season.

What time is Big Brother on the rest of the season?

We pulled the last Season 28 airings and lined the clocks up side by side, including the ones that already aired.

Two things stand out. Thursday, Sept. 24 grew from one hour to two when the Friday episode came off the schedule, and Sunday, Sept. 27 did not start until about 10:15.

Where can you stream it?

Paramount+ carries the CBS simulcast on its live-TV tier, and each episode lands on demand after the broadcast.

The 24/7 live feeds are a separate product on Paramount+. Feeds keep running during the episode, which is how spoilers reach social media before the broadcast ends.

What happens on each night of the week?

For most of the season, Sunday was the setup night (Head of Household and nominations), Wednesday covered the veto, and Thursday was the live eviction. Finale week broke that pattern: no eviction was left to set up, so Sunday was the penultimate hour and Thursday the finale.
