Big Brother 28 Schedule Through the Finale β€” Every Remaining Date, and the Three Nights That Moved

The short version β€” Big Brother 28 runs Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 PM ET on CBS and ends with a 90-minute finale on Thursday, October 1. Three nights in September have already been pushed off 8:00, and none of them are the ones people expect.

We built this from the network's announced changes plus the standing Sunday/Wednesday/Thursday pattern. Watch the right-hand column. A blank there means nothing has been announced, so the usual 8:00 stands.

When is the Big Brother 28 finale?

Thursday, October 1, at 8:00 PM ET, running 90 minutes. Winner takes $750,000, runner-up gets $75,000, and America's Favorite Houseguest is worth $50,000.

That is a bigger top prize than the show carried for most of its run, and it has been part of the strategy talk in the house all summer.

How many houseguests are left?

Nine, after La Trice went out on Day 59 in the September 3 eviction. This season premiered July 9, so the house is now two months in.

In order, the evicted list so far reads: Ashley, Rome, Jason, Lyric, Chuk, Kamu, Mallory, Haley and La Trice. Haley's exit on Day 53 came a day after Mallory's, which is why the count jumped by two that week.

πŸ’‘ Tip β€” Nine down to a finale in under four weeks means the pace has to pick up. Watch the Wednesday running times: a two-hour Wednesday is the usual tell that a double eviction is coming.

Where can you stream it?

Episodes land on Paramount+ the day after they air. If you have a live TV package that carries your local CBS station, the broadcast streams there in real time.

Live feeds are a separate subscription and run around the clock, which is where most of the spoiler chatter starts before an episode airs. For that question, our Sunday episode guide covers what a taped Sunday show actually reveals versus what the feeds already gave away.

Questions people ask about the rest of the season

Q. Does a 90-minute Wednesday mean a double eviction?
Not by itself. September 9, 16 and 23 are all listed at 90 minutes, and so is the October 1 finale. A longer Wednesday gives the show room to fit more in, and that room has historically been used for a second vote β€” but CBS has not labelled any specific date a double eviction, so treat the running time as a hint, not an announcement.

Q. Why does September 23 start at 10:00 instead of 8:00?
Survivor premieres that night with a two-hour episode that takes the 8:00 block. Big Brother keeps its full 90 minutes; it just starts two hours later.

Q. Do the moved Sundays drag the rest of that week with them?
No. September 13 and 27 shift on their own. The Wednesday and Thursday shows in both of those weeks are still listed at 8:00 PM ET.

Q. How long has this season been running?
It premiered July 9 and ends October 1 β€” twelve weeks almost to the day. Nine of the original houseguests were still in the house after the September 3 eviction.

Q. What happens to the schedule if a live sports window runs long again?
The three announced changes above are already baked in, but CBS can add more on short notice. A Sunday night that follows an afternoon football window is the one to double-check on the day.

What else is on while this plays out

September is when the fall slate crowds in β€” that Survivor premiere on the 23rd is the reason Big Brother slides to 10:00 that night. Premiere dates for the rest of the season sit in our fall guide, and the DWTS 35 cast page covers the other big September launch.

For the next few days specifically, see this weekend's lineup. Recaps of the last two Big Brother nights are here: the September 3 eviction and Friday's Unlocked episode.
