Barrett won the Head of Household and did the thing nobody in the house wanted to see: he put all three Icons on the block at once.

Then Yash took the veto out of the pool. Wednesday is where that combination gets resolved on air.

Where things standBig Brother 28 runs 90 minutes on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS, with the live eviction the next night, Thursday, Sept. 10.

What happens on the Wednesday episode?

The veto competition and the veto ceremony. That's the whole spine of a Wednesday hour, and this one has an extra half hour to fill.

Live feed reports have Yash winning the veto with the nominations left intact. If that holds on air, the three names on the block Wednesday night are the three names Thursday's vote picks from.

Who is left in the house?

Nine, after La Trice's exit on Day 59 in the Sept. 3 eviction. The season premiered July 9, which puts the house two months deep.

The eviction order so far: Ashley, Rome, Jason, Lyric, Chuk, Kamu, Mallory, Haley, La Trice.

How many nights are left before the finale?

Counting Wednesday, twelve. The finale is Thursday, Oct. 1, at 8 p.m. ET, running 90 minutes.

Here's a detail we flagged a week ago and can now confirm against the network schedule: Wednesday, Sept. 16 is listed at two hours. On this show a stretched Wednesday is usually the tell for a double eviction.

Nine houseguests, three weeks, one two-hour Wednesday. The math only works if a night doubles up.

What are they playing for?

That top prize is larger than the show carried for most of its run, and it has shaped the endgame talk in the house since the jury phase started.

Where can you stream it?

Paramount+ carries the episodes, and the live feeds run on the Premium tier between broadcasts.

Note - Sunday, Sept. 13 starts at 8:30 p.m. ET, not 8:00, because of an NFL doubleheader. Two more Sundays move later in the month.

What else is on the same night?

FOX puts MasterChef's finale, part one against it in the 8 p.m. hour, so the midweek clash is real.

Our full Big Brother date table has every remaining start time, Sunday's episode set up this week's block, and the Sept. 3 eviction is where the house count last changed. The week rundown covers the other six nights, and the fall guide picks up after Oct. 1.
