Two premieres, one finale and a house down to five people. Next week is the busiest stretch of the fall so far, and almost all of the pressure lands Monday through Wednesday.

Times below are Eastern. Everything here is checked against the networks' own listings and TVmaze; where a start time has moved off a show's usual slot, we say so.

What's on Monday, Sept. 21?

The Voice comes back for Season 30 with a two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. on NBC, streaming on Peacock the next day.

The coaching panel is half new. Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson return; Riley Green and Queen Latifah take the other two chairs, and both are first-time coaches on the show. We went through how her seat came together in our Queen Latifah update.

NBC is not doing a one-night open. The Blind Auditions run three nights in a row — two hours Monday, then an hour Tuesday and an hour Wednesday — which is four hours of auditions before the week is out. Our Voice Season 30 schedule page keeps the running list.

Why is Tuesday so crowded?

Because three networks put something big in the same two hours.

On ABC, Dancing with the Stars plays its first regular one-night episode of Season 35 after last week's two-night premiere. ABC affiliate listings have it as Viral Hits Night, and TVmaze carries the same episode title. Fourteen couples are still in after Wednesday's second elimination.

On NBC, The Voice takes 8 p.m. and the America's Got Talent Finale Performances take 9 to 11. Ten acts perform for the last time; voting closes overnight.

TLC runs its weight-loss block underneath all of it, with 1000-lb Sisters at 9 and 1000-lb Roomies at 10. The Sisters episode is "Another BBQ Bites the Dust," which continues the season's music-video thread — the one we laid out in our Amy Slaton update.

If you only have one screen, the practical answer is that DWTS and the AGT finale barely overlap: the ballroom ends at 10, the talent show ends at 11.

What happens Wednesday, Sept. 23?

Survivor 51 starts. CBS gives it two hours from 8 p.m., and the premiere is titled "Permanent Uncertainty" — a phrase Jeff Probst uses in the trailer. Twenty-one castaways go to Fiji, which is the largest starting cast the show has ever had. We broke down the format changes in our Jeff Probst update.

The same night, NBC names an AGT champion at the end of the 9 p.m. results show. The ten finalists were set on Sept. 16, and we listed all of them in the semifinal results.

Watch the CBS clock here. Big Brother normally owns 8 p.m. on Wednesday; next week it is pushed to 10 because of the Survivor premiere. Set the recording by the listing, not by habit.

Who is head to head on Thursday?

CBS and NBC, at 8 p.m., with two shows built on the same thing: people lying to each other's faces.

Big Brother 28 runs a live eviction with five houseguests left — Dee, Devens, Drew, Melody and Taylor, after last week's double eviction took out Barrett Pfeiffer and Yash Patel. The Traitors: New Blood answers with two hours, Episodes 3 and 4 back to back, the same double-drop pattern NBC used for its premiere.

What's on over the weekend?

Saturday is empty on our list. Sunday has two things.

TLC closes out the 90 Day Fiancé Season 12 Tell All with Part 3, two hours from 8 p.m. And Big Brother takes an odd 9:30 p.m. slot — its second shifted start of the week, and the last Sunday episode of the season.

Which finales land after this week?

Two, and they are close together.

AGT finishes Wednesday. Big Brother 28 finishes Thursday, Oct. 1, in a 90-minute live finale from 8 to 9:30 p.m. ET — longer than the usual hour because the season started with 17 houseguests. Our BB28 finale page tracks every night left, and the fall 2026 guide holds the wider calendar.

That leaves The Voice, Survivor, DWTS and The Traitors carrying October between them.
